Why would I say such a thing? He seems such a nice boy...

Well.

I'm halfway through The Magician and the Fool. I would dearly love to spend the rest of the afternoon finishing this book. In fact, I really didn't want to put it down to prepare my child's breakfast. Now, is that nice?

Also, it's my spouse's birthday and I shouldn't be saying "Sorry, hon, no-can-do on that celebration thing...this book, y'see?"

Also. The women's Final Four? Games this afternoon. Two of them. Will be likely two of the best women's basketball games ever played in the history of the world. And me? I'll be glancing at the book lying on the table next to my Game-watching Seat going, "I could read a couple pages during the commercials and time-outs, huh?"

Unless I finish it before then. Finish reading this incredible book instead of, you know, like feeding my family, caring for myself, and that kind of thing.

What are you reading this nonsense for? Go get The Magician and the Fool and start reading it Right Now.

Funny, I had to put down M&F to do work on some weird book cover for some weird press . . .

Strange world.

Go, Stanford!

(I just had to chime in with that one)

Well, well, well...the (re)match-up we've all been waiting for, huh?

I just hope Tennessee remembers how to shoot or it could be a long night for them.

Well, *I* wouldn't mind if Tennessee has a long night. Nope, wouldn't mind that at all.

However, Pat Summitt will make sure that the Vols are in tip-top game shape. This should be a really good one.

Gotta say, if Stanford manages to pull it off they'll have beaten Pitt, Maryland, UConn and Tennessee. Talk about a hard road to a title...

And if Stanford wins, it'll be the second year in a row Pitt lost to the eventual NC in the tourney. (They lost to Tenn in the second round last year.)

But that's who they need to be playing, so I'm good with that.

:)
